Explore the collection: Common bulb types

• Standard bulbs: A classic choice for general lighting, available with popular bases like E27 and E14.

• Filament bulbs and decorative bulbs: Eye-catching options that double as design elements in your decor.

• Candle bulbs: Slim and elegant, these are ideal for chandeliers and traditional lamps.

• Globe bulbs: Round globe bulbs provide even, soft light and look great even without a lampshade.

• Tubular bulbs: Narrow bulbs designed for minimalist or speciality lamps.

• Spotlight bulbs: LED alternatives to halogen bulbs, often with GU10 or GU5.3 bases.

5 tips for choosing the right LED bulb

1. Choose the right color temperature: Warm white light (2700–3000 K) is ideal for cosy mood lighting, while cooler light (4000–5000 K) works well in workspaces and kitchens.

2. Consider lumens: Unlike traditional incandescent bulbs, LED brightness is measured in lumens (lm). For example, 800 lumens is roughly equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent bulb.

3. Check energy efficiency: LED bulbs are far more energy-efficient than traditional bulbs. Choosing a high-efficiency bulb saves electricity and lasts longer.

4. Don’t forget dimmability: Not all LED bulbs are dimmable. If your lamp has a dimmer, opt for a dimmable bulb.

5. Get the right size: Ensure the bulb fits your lamp’s socket and shade. A bulb that’s too large might not fit inside the lamp.
