The Pilke 30/70 pendant by Pilke Lights provides an atmospheric glow to any space. As you might have guessed by the luminaire's name, the Pilke 30/70 pendant light has a diameter of 11.81 in (30 cm) and a height of 27.56 x 0 in (70 x cm. cm). The elongated form is ideal for staircases and rooms with high ceilings either as a single illuminator or in a cluster of several pendants – a modern alternative for a chandelier!
Pilke 30/70 is part of the simple yet ornamental Pilke Signature Collection designed by Tuukka Halonen. Crafted from birch plywood, the Pilke luminaires are an enchanting combination of technology and tradition: Halonen sought influences for the design from traditional Finnish wood crafts but utilized today’s manufacturing methods and materials. As a contemporary interpretation of shingle work, the lamps are characterized by a crystal-like pattern that filters the light pleasantly and casts beautiful shadows on the walls and ceiling. All Pilke lamps are designed and handcrafted in Finland.
Please note that in 2022, the lamp was updated slightly: the new version comes with a new white textile cord and a white ceiling cup in metal.
