Louis Poulsen's Panthella 160 Portable V2 table lamp is a cordless outdoor version of one of the most popular products designed by Verner Panton. The lamp is rechargeable and dimmable – it lights up your balcony or patio for up to 5 hours and is easy to grab along with you when you turn in for the night. The lamp runs on replaceable batteries that can be charged using inductive charging or a USB cable.
When creating the original Panthella, Panton's aim was to create a lamp in which the base and the shade would both act as reflectors. The light source is hidden under the hemispheric acrylic shade, while the trumpet-shaped base gives the lamp a distinctive, balanced silhouette and also contributes to the distribution of light. Originally released in 1971, Panthella is today considered a classic of Danish design and is available in a range of sizes and colors.
