Mifuko
Oval soap dish

Description

The oval soap dish by Mifuko is designed so that excess water can easily drip through the perforated upper tray onto the lower tray which, in turn, can easily be emptied, allowing the soap to fully dry between uses.

The soap tray is hand-carved in Kenya from sustainably quarried soapstone. The natural stone is characterized by a silky-smooth texture as well as marble-like veining in varying hues of red, brown and black. Due to the artisanal manufacturing method and the natural material, each soap dish is a unique piece of artisanship, and signed by the artisan who made it.

Please note that salt, including soap products that contain salt, corrodes soapstone and may cause the dish to break.
