Description

Vitra’s Locker Box is designed for the ever-evolving needs of office work. Many offices have employed the so-called hot desking policy, in which employees do not have their own designated desks but move from one workstation to another according to the task at hand – not to mention the days they work from home. In the Locker Box, your laptop, mouse, keyboard and other accessories are conveniently carried from one workstation to another, and it’s also easy to store away at the end of the workday. Designed by Konstantin Grcic, Locker Box RE is partially manufactured using recycled materials.

Konstantin Grcic

The German designer Konstantin Grcic (b. 1965) studied in Royal College of Art in London. In 1991 he founded his own company, KGID. Over the years, Grcic has had many well-known clients such as Magis, Vitra and Iittala. The cooperation with Magis lead to one of the most interesting and inventive chairs of our time, the Chair One. Chair One became a design icon and a part of the permanent collections in MoMA in New York and Center Georges Pompidou in Paris.
