Nedre Foss’ Korg tray, created by Italian designers Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere, is a small ceramic tray that is equally suitable for serving food and storing small items. The wall in the middle of the tray functions as a handle, dividing the tray into two compartments.
Lucidi and Pevere aimed at designing a versatile tray with a distinctive handle, and after numerous sketches, the designers came up with a form that draws from the shape of baskets rather than typical flat trays. You can use the Korg tray to serve spices and dips as well as sweet or savory snacks, or use it as a storage tray for office supplies, bathroom items and candles.
