Designer
Katsuji Wakisaka was the first Japanese designer to work for Marimekko when he started in 1968. Inspired by the Finnish nature he created a style that was characterized by organic forms and bold colors.
Returning home to Japan in the 1980s he established his own clothing brand SOUSOU which clothes are based on Japanese tradition.
