The Emeco stool, designed by Philippe Starck, is one of Emeco’s best-selling stools. The aluminum stool was developed in 2001 when New York’s Museum of Modern Art asked Emeco and Philippe Starck to design a simple stool for the Ludwig Mies van der Rohe retrospective. The stool has a lifetime warranty.
The Emeco stool is made from 80% recycled aluminum and constructed by hand using the same 77-step process as Emeco’s legendary Navy chairs, which were originally designed for naval use. The end result is a charmingly minimalist, lightweight, stackable and durable stool that is also suitable for outdoor use. All Emeco products are manufactured in the USA, using mostly recycled materials.
