Cover Story’s interior paint in the shade i04 Olavi is a dark navy blue with petrol undertones that make it the perfect pair for colder hues – but also the ideal counterpart for warm whites. In terms of furniture, the mystical blue hue complements darker wood tones and patinated surfaces. Part of the Cover Story x Iittala capsule collection, the paint is inspired by Iittala’s extensive glass color archive: Olavi’s striking hue is Cover Story’s interpretation of Iittala’s blue-colored glass.
Cover Story’s eco-friendly, water-based interior paints are suitable for both walls and ceilings and have a flat finish that provides a matte, non-reflective surface. The plastic-free paints are safe to use indoors as they are odorless and do not emit harmful VOCs into the indoor air. What’s more, the breathable paints are even suitable for wood and log surfaces.
Tips for purchasing Cover Story paints:
- One can of paint will cover a surface of 75–100 m². Count the amount of paint needed by multiplying the wall or ceiling width with its length. We recommend then doubling that, as the best result is achieved with two coats of paint.
- It is advisable to always use a sample before painting – lighting has a huge impact on how a particular shade looks in a particular space! Cover Story’s no-mess adhesive paint samples are available for purchase separately.
