Marset’s Copérnica floor lamp plays with geometric shapes, proportions and a sense of balance. Designed by Jaume Ramírez and Josema Carrillo and launched in 2017, the Copérnica floor lamp is constructed of a slender steel leg and arm. The arm balances a hemispherical shade on one end, and on the other end is a colorful disc that functions both as a counterweight and a handle.
Thanks to Copérnica’s rotating arm and shade, you can direct the light beam anywhere you like, be it a desk, a book that you’re reading or an art piece hanging on the wall. The arm’s extremely light and smooth movement gives the luminaire a sensation of weightlessness and a luxurious, elegant feel.
