Utopia & Utility
Utopia & Utility is a European company specializing in modern art objects, founded in 2012 by Finnish-German designer Pia Wüstenberg. The company originated with Wüstenberg's Stacking Vessels, a series of art glass pieces that combine glass, wood and metal, all crafted by European artisans. Utopia & Utility’s products draw inspiration from natural materials and expert craftsmanship, brought to life by glassblowers, woodworkers, ceramicists and metalworkers who possess a deep understanding of their materials. The final assembly is completed at the company's warehouse in Germany. Utopia & Utility's art objects have been showcased at the Tate Modern in London and are part of the permanent collection at the Shanghai Glass Museum.
