The story of the company began in a small town north of Venice where Luigi Bardini, only 18 years old, started his own business by selling staples to local industries. Soon he swapped to wooden furniture and set up a factory with two partners. The company, then called Inveta, started as a business between the three of them, but after two months it continued its journey with a new name and only a single owner. The Miniforms were born.

Over the next thirty years, Miniforms experienced ups and downs, including the first time in New York, the first failed product, and the first big hit – followed by more success. The next major changes were ahead in 2009 when Luigi Bardini handed the company over to his three sons Alessandro, Matteo and Mario. Young designers were brought in, investments were made, and the products started to become more impressive, artistic and colorful. Miniforms began experimenting with a broader palette, developing a breezy yet distinguished language full of elegant and unexpected shapes.

Today, Miniforms has gained a reputation for its creative use of materials, including wood, metal, and glass, to create furniture that is functional and esthetically pleasing at the same time. Unique and colorful furniture accessories delight homes all around the world.
