Marcato

Marcato is an Italian company founded in 1930, known as one of the world's leading manufacturers of pasta machines. The company’s story began when its founder, Otello Marcato, began making kitchen utensils in a workshop behind his home with an old hand lathe and selling them from door to door, traveling on the back of his bicycle. In 1938, production moved to a factory in Campodarsego, in northern Italy, where Marcato's world-famous pasta and bread machines are still manufactured. Today, the family business is led by Otello’s son, Pietro Marcato.
