Esben Bala Skouboe

Esben Bala Skouboe (b. 1981) is a Danish designer specializing in lighting design, known for his idealistic and poetic approach. Skouboe holds a degree in civil engineering in digital design from Aalborg University and has earned a PhD in responsive public lighting. Throughout his career, he has participated in interdisciplinary projects that merge science, art, and philosophy, with a focus on sustainable design, interactive healthcare art, and computational design. He has also served as the artistic director of several exhibitions, and works as a writer and lecturer on design-related topics.
