Alessi's Tsumiki table lamp borrows both its name and functional mechanism from the Japanese Tsumiki puzzle, in which the goal is to build fascinating three-dimensional shapes from simple wooden pieces. Designed by the design studio Medum, the table lamp brings the game to life, as the parts of the portable lamp function in the same way: the lamp's shade, stem and base are three separate elements that attach with strong magnets, offering multiple possibilities for illuminating modern homes.
The versatile Tsumiki lamp includes a rechargeable battery that provides enough power to light up for up to ten hours. Additionally, the lamp features a dimmer that allows for easy light intensity adjustment to suit the current space and mood.
