Description

Normann Copenhagen's Burra lounge chair adds delightful roundness and enveloping comfort to any space where relaxation is key. This sculptural lounge chair brings together a round seat and curved armrests, cradling its occupant in a gentle embrace. Upholstered in a wool fabric, this Burra chair features a swivel mechanism with return, making it easy to rock towards a conversation partner or perhaps a beautiful view.

Designed by Simon Legald, the Burra lounge chair takes its name from the beloved Italian burrata cheese: its plush form is indeed reminiscent of a giant burrata ball, and even in its softness, Burra doesn't stray far from its Italian inspiration. The low-profile design ensures that the armchair exudes a sense of lightness rather than weightiness. With its expressive design, this lounge chair can easily steal the spotlight as a standalone piece, but Burras also thrive when grouped together.
