Richard Hutten
Richard Hutten (b. 1967) is one of the most successful and influential designers of Dutch design. Hutten graduated from the Eindhoven Design Academy in 1991 and is one of the key members of the design movement Droog Design. Since 2008, he has worked as an art director of the large Dutch furniture brand Gispen. Hutten is known for his playful attitude towards design, and his work is often described as optimistic and fun. His work can be found in the permanent collections of over 40 museums around the world, and he has won numerous international awards, such as Red Dot Award, LAI interior award and German Design Award.
