Fredericia’s elegant 2207 armchair was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1963. This Mogensen 2207 armchair has been upholstered in cognac brown vegetable-tanned aniline leather with a breathable, open-pored texture.
Fredericia’s Select Collection consists of sofas and armchairs characterized by simple but noble shapes and luxurious materials. Besides private residencies, they are seen in embassies, minister’s cabinets and upscale hotels around the world. Mogensen found the inspiration for the collection from Porter’s chairs and sofas designed by Kaare Klint in the 1920s. The whole range is crafted and upholstered by hand at Fredericia’s own factory in Denmark.
