Fatboy's Recycled Original Slim Cord is the first fully recycled bean bag in Fatboy's collection. The Recycled Original Slim Cord bean bag is filled with recycled EPS made from construction and packaging materials, while the inner bag and relaxed corduroy cover are made from recycled polyester. The soft and durable corduroy cover can be washed by hand or dry-cleaned.

Fatboy Original bean bag chair, designed by Finnish Jukka Setälä, has become an international success story and lifestyle icon. Fatboy Original can be used in countless ways since it shapes effortlessly from a mattress to an ergonomic lounge chair and everything in between. Jukka Setälä

Jukka Setälä (b. 1967) is a Finnish interior architect who graduated from the University of Art and Design Helsinki in 1996. Since graduating, he has been working as a freelance furniture and lighting designer. He has created many products – mainly industrial design – but his most famous design is without any doubt Fatboy the Original bean bag.

Created in 1998, Fatboy the Original is a comfortable and stylish bean bag which is just perfect to relax. The idea behind the product is simple but at the same time it is a genius idea: an oversized bean bag which can be used almost everywhere – at home, at the office, etc. – and which is ideal not only to sit but has many other uses as well – you can lounge in it, take a nap, use it as an extra bed for your guests, etc. Jukka Setälä has participated in many exhibitions and received awards for his works, such as the Excellent Swedish Design Award for his Spring lamp or the Best New Furniture in Europe 2006. Jukka Setälä has been teaching furniture design at University of Art and Design Helsinki since 1999.
