Description

Alessi’s Plissé milk frother boasts a dynamic, sculptural design inspired by the worlds of fashion and architecture. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, the electronic milk frother has a unique surface texture that resembles pleated fabric – it is simply too beautiful to be kept hidden in the kitchen cabinet!

The multifunctional Plissé milk frother allows you to prepare a barista-style cappuccino, iced latte or a cup of hot cocoa in no time. The mains-powered milk frother has a stainless steel jug, which is marked with maximum and minimum filling levels for four different programs: hot milk, hot frothy milk, cold frothy milk and hot chocolate. This means that in addition to frothing milk, the Plissé frother also heats drinks to the right temperature. If you like, you can also use the removable steel jug on induction hobs.

Care instructions
The stainless steel jug with handle, the lid and spiral element of the frother can all be washed in the dishwasher. Clean the heating base with a damp cloth and then dry it.

Michele De Lucchi

Michele De Lucchi was born in 1951 in Ferrara, Italy. He studied architecture in Florence. After his graduation De Lucchi was a part of anti-design movement called Radical. 

De Lucchi has designed lamps and furnishings for the most renewed Italian and European companies. He has received a Compasso D'oro design award together with Giancarlo Fassina for their well-known Tolomeo series of lamps.
