GUBI’s Pedrera coffee table was designed for Antoni Gaudi's famous La Pedrera building in Barcelona. In 1955, the loft space of La Pedrera was transformed from a laundry and storage area into 13 modern duplex apartments. Spanish architect Barba Corsini was in charge of the renovations, and to complement the modernist look of the rooms, Corsini also designed furniture and lighting for the apartments, including the Pedrera coffee table.
The Pedrera coffee table has a black steel frame and an organically shaped glass top. It pairs perfectly with the lamps from the Pedrera collection, and also makes a distinctive eye-catcher by itself.
