The Model 237/2 wall lamp by the lighting brand Astep is composed of two round opal glass diffusers with steel ring structures. You can place the glass spheres on the rings either way around and thus alter the lamp's look and intensity of light. The Model 237 wall lamp is part of the Le Sfere collection created by the legendary Italian lighting designer Gino Sarfatti in 1959. Sarfatti sought inspiration for his work from natural light and the sky, and the lamps of the Le Sfere collection were influenced by the soft light and round shape of the Moon. The collection consists of a diverse range of luminaires that all have two things in common: white light diffused through opal glass and a modern, graphic touch of the metal rings. The Le Sfere lamps are made in Italy and are equally well suited for private and public spaces.
