Description

Harto’s Carmen wall lamp, designed by PaulinePlusLuis Studio, is reminiscent of a skirt twirling around a spinning dancer. The delicate wall light is formed by a luminous disc under a translucent plexiglas with a pleated fabric corolla around it. The graceful shape of the Carmen lamp is highlighted by the harmonious colour selection, making it an eye-catching addition to any interior. Carmen is available in several colours and sizes that can also be creatively arranged in unique clusters.

In 2023, the Carmen range was updated with a thicker and more rigid shade, designed to make assembly easier than before. The updated Carmen lamps are manufactured in France.

PaulinePlusLuis Studio was established in 2015 by Pauline Capdo and Luis Bellenger. Both have studied products design and industrial design, and Luis also has experience in cabinet making. Due to their versatile background, PaulinePlusLuis Studio is known for being experimental in their designs and combining craftsmanship with industrial production methods. The pair gets their inspiration from observing their surroundings, shapes and moments. Therefore their designs often carry a poetic element and a sense of nostalgia.
