FontanaArte’s Bianca table lamp comprises the subtle lines designed by Matti Klenell and the exquisite talent of Italian glassblowers. The Bianca table light is captivating in any interior, whether as a single piece or arranged in groups, and the delicate grooves etched into the glass bring to mind footprints in freshly fallen snow. The large, 50 cm wide table lamp can also be used as a floor lamp, and you can dim the lamp according to the mood and setting.
The manufacturing process of the Bianca collection requires exceptional glassblowing skills: the rounded shade is made by blowing glass into a mould in a traditional Venetian technique, without any modern aids. The shade is then belt-sanded and acid-treated to achieve a silky matte effect. The milky-white glass shade filters warm, soft and glare-free light, and also the metal parts of the luminaire are finished with a matte white coating.
