Benny Frandsen is a Danish lighting designer and manufacturer. Frandsen, who studied engineering, had a big dream to create lighting solutions. In 1968, he started crafting lamps independently in his basement, which led to the birth of the company Frandsen. After his most famous luminaire, the Ball lamp, Frandsen has won numerous design awards for his various lamp models. His style is characterized by classical graphic forms and timeless, functional design.
