Marimekko's Pitkospuut cushion cover is adorned with Jenni Tuominen's pattern, where the shapes originally cut on paper are organized into a soft, graphic composition. Pitkospuut, Finnish for duckboards, was inspired by the duckboards leading to the Sikosaari bird tower in Porvoo, where the designer often strolls.
Printed in Helsinki, Finland, on a 100% cotton fabric, the Pitkospuut cushion cover is coloured in hues of sand and dark blue. The square-shaped decorative cushion cover is ideal for brightening up the look of a sofa or bed.
