Description

The Austere trestles by Form & Refine were born out of necessity: when architect Kristian Vedel was named professor in industrial design at the University of Nairobi, he noticed that the classrooms lacked ergonomic furniture for studying. Therefore, he designed foldable trestles that would make it easy to move the furniture around and store it away when not in use. Finished with corner bridle joints and metal fittings, the clean-lined design of the Austere trestles not only exemplifies Vedel’s extraordinary talent in design but also remind us of the woodworking skills required to craft such high-quality pieces.

The trestles come in a set of two.
