Kay Bojesen’s Grand Prix children’s cutlery set includes a total of 4 pieces: a spoon, a knife, a spoon-fork combo, and a sturdy canvas placemat with its own storage pocket for the cutlery. Crafted from polished stainless steel, this cutlery set is perfect for little hands and small plates.
The Grand Prix cutlery collection is among the most renowned works of the iconic Danish designer Kay Bojesen. In the 1930s, Bojesen set out to create a versatile cutlery series suitable for hands of all sizes, perfect for both everyday use and special occasions, with the aim that these pieces could be passed down through generations as cherished heirlooms. At the 1951 Milan Triennial, his silver cutlery was awarded the first prize – the Grand Prix – and ever since, the collection has been known by this name. After the win, the cutlery was introduced in a matte steel version, and in 2011, the series was expanded with polished steel utensils.
