Kristina Riska
Kristiina Riska (b. 1960) is an award-winning ceramic artist who graduated from University of Art and Design Helsinki in 1984. In her career she has focused particularly on unique art pieces, and today Riska is one of the nine artists working at Arabia Art Department Society in Helsinki. Riska is perhaps most well-known for the environmental art piece Gecko, located in Kamppi bus terminal in Helsinki, that she created in collaboration with her peers from the society, Pekka Paikkari and Kati Tuominen-Niittylä. Riska has also designed the Koko dishware collection in collaboration with Tuominen-Niittylä for the Finnish brand Arabia.
