The decorative style of Arabia’s Runo tableware collection is the work of ceramic artist Heini Riitahuhta. Runo, Finnish for poem, revives Arabia’s rich tradition of ornamentation, where the artist’s vision unfolds as a bold, all-over design on ceramic pieces. Unlike traditional, repetitive patterns, Runo flows organically from one piece to another – sometimes covering large surfaces, other times delicately gracing the edges.
