Aleksi Perälä’s most popular product is Ote glassware designed for Iittala. With only three poetically simplified forms, Ote fulfils every need for drinking glasses. Modern and stylish, yet with a strong sense of respect for the Iittala design heritage – Ote is this century’s archetypal glass for multifunctional use. A modern design classic that is a pleasure to hold and to use. In addition to its distinctive form, the Ote range also gets its dynamism from a carefully chosen selection of colours – earthy colours. The depth of colour varies depending on the thickness of the glass, creating an attractive play of light. Overall, the Ote range can be compared to a good wine: full-bodied and smooth, rich in nuances, and one that goes well with a number of dishes, both everyday and festive, yet still with a decided character of its own. Thanks to the range of sizes and colours on offer, everyone can be sure of finding just the glass they need from the Ote range.
