Santa & Cole’s Tatu Pie floor lamp, designed by André Ricard, complements the iconic range of Tatu lamps. Embodying a fascinating fusion of object and lamp, Tatu consists of sections that rotate independently, making it easily adaptable to your lighting needs. With a name translating to armadillo, the resemblance is uncanny: much like the mammal that can roll up into a ball, Tatu can flex to serve your needs precisely, be it beside your desk or in the living room.
Spanish designer André Ricard found inspiration for Tatu in the reading light above his head on a long-distance flight: thanks to its concentrated beam, Ricard could continue reading without waking up his sleeping spouse. Originally introduced in 1972 and relaunched by Santa & Cole in 2018, the Tatu lamps have been updated with modern LED technology. In addition to the easily adjustable light intensity, you can adjust the width of the beam from narrow to wide.
