Verpan's Flex chair consists of an ergonomic seat and backrest attached to a slim metal frame. Designed by Verner Panton, the chair's softly curved seat and backrest are designed to conform to the shape of the human body, provide lumbar support while also securing blood circulation in the legs. The backrest bends slightly, making the sitting position even more comfortable. The Flex chair is stackable and ideal for both the kitchen and dining room as well as the home office.
The Flex chair is manufactured sustainably: the chair is made from 100% recyclable polypropylene, and all residual material from the chair's manufacturing process is recycled at the factory. Standard screws are used to assemble the chair so that it can be easily disassembled if any parts need to be replaced. This significantly extends the product’s life cycle while facilitating the recycling of parts made of different materials.
