Designer
Lars Tornøe is a Norwegian designer who has a master's degree in Furniture and Spatial Design from the Bergen National Academy of the Arts. In 2006, Tornøe and his colleague Atle Tveit established the design studio Tveit & Tornøe. One of their most famous designs of their collaboration was the wall hook collection The Dots for the Danish brand Muuto.
Today, Tornøe runs his own studio and designs furniture, luminaires and interior products for various Scandinavian brands. Tornøe has been awarded with several design awards such as the Award for Design Excellence by the Norwegian Design Council and Designer of the Year by Bo Bedre magazine.
