Description

Carina Seth Andersson: Work is a photographic journey into the work of renowned Swedish designer Carina Seth Andersson. Like Andersson’s designs, the aesthetic world of the book is characterised by serenity, functionality and minimalism. The photographs were taken by Pia Ulin, a photographer specialising in interior design, complemented by a preface by Tom Hedqvist and essays by Petter Eklund and Hitoshi Okamoto. The beautiful linen cover book has been manufactured in Sweden.

Carina Seth Andersson has come to be recognised as one of the most distinctive Swedish designers today. Her work, primarily within glass and ceramics, employs principles of simplicity and functionality, resulting in iconic pieces with timeless quality. From the crafted studio productions to commissions for international producers, her work crosses boundaries between arts, crafts and the mass-produced. This book is a photographic narrative of Carina Seth Andersson's work and process, from her Gustavsberg studio to Skruf’s glassworks in Småland.
