Designer
Andreu Carulla is a Spanish designer who enjoys exploring materiality, traditional Mediterranean techniques as well as contemporary processes. The Catalan-born designer founded his own studio and workshop in 2006 in an old mill located in a rural area close to Barcelona. He also runs another studio, Studio ACID, and works as Creative Director for several local brands. Carulla has been awarded many notable design awards, such as the Red Dot Award, Hospitality Design Award and Good Design Award.
