The Armen table lamp by DCWéditions is a charming and multifunctional luminaire which consists of a circular light source surrounded by three aluminium cones. Designer Grégoire de Lafforest has drawn inspiration for the lamp from basic geometric shapes and mathematical elements. The elegant table lamp has two dimmers, one of which allows the light to be adjusted to a brighter or dimmer setting; the other allows the colour temperature to be changed from a warm 2700 Kelvin to a slightly cooler 3400 Kelvin. The adjustability of the Armen lamp makes it suitable for many different spaces and moods: it will delight in the bedroom or living room but is also ideal for public spaces such as a restaurant table, hotel lobby or office.
The luminaire is named after the Ar-Men lighthouse in the French seaside region of Brittany – the name of the lighthouse itself comes from the Breton language, where ar-men means rock or cliff.
