Blomus
The German Blomus has a unique history that is both short and long, dating back to 1921 when Karl Scheffer-Klute founded a company called SKS Sundern, which later became SKS-Design in 1961. The company then focused on creating gift items mainly from copper and brass, until the 1960s to 1980s, when they also started using metal in their products. Quickly stainless steel became the most significant material to reflect the company's modern aspirations, and by 2009, the current Blomus was born.
They restructured their product portfolio to focus on home, garden and spa, adopting a unique and minimalist design language. The 2010 Blomus relaunch set the stage for a successful design-oriented future, evidenced by the multiple design awards they have since won in a short span of time.
