The PH 3/3 pendant from Louis Poulsen is part of Poul Henningsen's legendary lighting family that features an innovative three-shade system developed by Henningsen in the 1920s. The three shades form a sculptural lamp that provides a pleasant, glare-free light and brings timeless elegance to any space.
PH 3/3 is one of the lesser-known designs in the series, a so-called full-size lamp. These designs feature shades with a ratio of approximately 3:2:1, and therefore appear rounder than many other designs in the collection. The full-sized luminaires are particularly glare-free and therefore ideally placed high in a room.
The PH 3/3 pendant's base has been painted matt black for a modern, sophisticated look, while the shades are made of mouth-blown opal glass. Thanks to its shape and material, the luminaire emits a warm and gentle all-around glow that can be made even softer with the frosted glass diffuser included in the package.
