Newton by Tonfisk Design combines a cream jug and a sugar bowl in an original way. The sugar bowl is nested inside the cylindrical jug, and it stays level on top of the milk jug when pouring milk into the coffee or tea. The spout of the cream jug is designed so that the milk drains neatly into the drink without dripping. The charming milk and sugar set, made of brown ceramic, is designed by Tanja Sipilä.
The sugar bowl is easily removable for filling and cleaning. Newton is machine washable.
Tanja Sipilä is Finnish designer and a veritable design multitalent. In addition to her design work, Sipilä is known for co-founding the TRE concept store. Before her position as TRE’s CEO, Sipilä worked as a project manager for Design Forum Finland’s Design Forum Shop.
