Description

Örsjö's Tratten pendant lamp is a revived version of Hans-Agne Jakobsson's classic metal lamp from the 1960s, originally manufactured by his own company in Markaryd, Sweden. With its elegant cone-shaped shade, this minimalist pendant light softly directs light downward.

Tratten (Swedish for "funnel") is an excellent choice for hanging above a dining area, kitchen island or sofa group, and works beautifully when arranged in clusters of multiple lamps. Featuring a dimmable LED light source, the lamp is made from untreated brass that will naturally develop a beautiful patina over time, adding to its charm and character.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson

Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919–2009) was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company since 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
