Description

Woud’s La Terra occasional table is dominated by a minimalist look and an elegant, nature-inspired design language. The table consists of a simple metal frame and a table top, made of travertine, with an organic, irregular shape reminiscent of pebbles on the beach. When creating the table collection, designer Agnes Morguet imagined a barren, rocky beach landscape – she wanted to translate the tranquil atmosphere of a barefoot walk to the design. Just like every pebble on the beach, every La Terra table is unique, as the travertine top's patterns and shades vary from grey and beige all the way to black and brown.

Place a single table next to a sofa or armchair as an elegant coffee table, or use the different-sized tables from the La Terra collection to create a beautiful ensemble of tables as the centrepiece of your living room!

Agnes Morguet

Agnes Morguet is a German designer and interior architect known for her elegant and straightforward, yet easy -to-approach creations. She finds inspiration all around her: “Everything I see, feel, smell and hear inspires me,” she has said. As her main source of inspiration, however, Morguet has named nature. This is reflected in her works in both natural materials and forms borrowed from nature, as well as a kind of imperfection – not many things are naturally completely symmetrical, for example. Morguet is also a trained carpenter, which shows in her designs as an appreciation for authentic materials and artisanship.
