Description

HAY's CPH20 table is part of the Copenhague furniture collection designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. HAY invited the Bouroullec brothers to design the furniture for the new buildings of the University of Copenhagen (KUA) – hence the collection's name! The Bouroullec brothers wanted to create furniture with greater originality and a more domestic expression than traditional educational furniture. The Copenhague collection fits all kinds of public spaces as well as private use: the sleek table can be used as a dining table in the home as well as in restaurants.

HAY has updated the much-loved CPH collection a couple of times. In 2021, the original lacquer was replaced with a new, more environmentally friendly water-based alternative. In 2024, the material of the tabletop was renewed: the tables are exactly the same shape as before, but instead of plywood, the edge is now made of durable MDF.
