Description

Tikau’s Bombroo rug is a breath-taking work of art, felted and embroidered by hand. These one-of-a-kind rugs are made from undyed wool and cotton, and the fairytale-like image designed by Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi is created using a traditional Indian embroidery technique called Ari. The Bombroo carpet gets its name from the Hindi language, where bombroo means bumblebee. The eloquent carpet would also look stunning hung on the wall.

Tikau’s felted rugs are hand-made in Kashmir, India by a few local artisans. The rugs are made from chemical-free wool and cotton.
