Carl Hansen & Søn’s BM1160 dining table, designed by Børge Mogensen, is also known as the Hunting table. First introduced at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild furniture exhibition in 1950, the table is part of a collection that draws on hunting lodges. Both rustic and refined at the same time, the dining table was put back into production in 2019.

The BM1160 Hunting table is an intriguing combination of luxurious and characterful natural materials. The carefully crafted solid wood frame with skilful joinery is accompanied by metal supports running under the veneered tabletop, ensuring a stable structure. Thanks to the long, narrow tabletop, the Hunting table is also suitable for larger groups, and is still easy to fit in a small space.
