The Umanoff collection brings iconic designs by Arthur Umanoff back into production. American-born Arthur Umanoff was one of the designers of the modern movement in the middle of the century. In his designs, Umanoff favoured long-lasting natural materials and stylish silhouettes.

Arthur Umanoff

Arthur Umanoff (1923–1985) is an American industrial designer who has designed furniture, lighting as well as interior items. Umanoff graduated from the New York’s Pratt Institute and the American School of Design in the 1950s. In addition to the simple and timeless designs, Umanoff paid special attention to the functionality and attainability of the product. He favoured quality natural materials such as walnut, birch, rattan, leather and wrought iron. Umanoff’s designs represent the American mid century modern movement.
