Designer
Warren Platner (1919–2006) was an American architect and designer who was one of the key figures of 1960s modernism. Platner, who graduated as an architect from Cornell University in New York, worked in the 1960s in the architectural practice of Eero Saarinen. His best-known works include the Georg Jensen Design Center in New York and the Windows on the World restaurant, and in design, he is remembered especially for the Platner table at Knoll.
