Description

Nekku is an adorable small glass spoon designed by glassblower and designer Julia Töyrylä. The name Nekku comes from a traditional Finnish treat made from boiled sugar and syrup – a kind of a lollipop. Handmade at the Nuutajärvi glass village in Finland, the Nekku spoon can be used as a sugar or salt spoon or for mixing drinks. The sweet spoon is available in many delicious colours - it's so hard to choose your favourite that you almost have to get more than just one!

Hand-crafted in Finland, the Nekku glass spoon is a part of the Lokal Kollektion series by the Helsinki-based gallery Lokal. The collection consists of unique, locally-manufactured products made in small-scale production, many even by hand in the designers' own workshops.
