Description

The ceramic Ultima Thule vase from Iittala is adorned with the lively surface pattern known from Tapio Wirkkala's iconic glassware series. Originally designed in 1968, the Ultima Thule series draws its inspiration from the nature of Lapland and the patterns formed by melting spring ice. In white ceramic, this pattern takes on a new interpretation: it's as if a delicate layer of snow has fallen onto the surface of the ice!

This ceramic vase provides a beautiful backdrop for both vibrant and more restrained arrangements – the small vase is especially suitable for individual flowers or compositions of a few branches.
