Ole Schjøll

Ole Schjøll (1935 -2018) had a background in carpentry and construction architecture already before completing his studies at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1964. Under the mentorship of Ole Wanscher and Poul Kjærholm, he honed his skills and knowledge of architecture and design even further. Following his education, Schjøll gained experience also working with Halldor Gunnløgsson and Mogens Koch. In 1974, he established his own design studio, where he focused on interior design and remodelling projects. Further, he ventured into furniture design, creating tables, benches, stools, and chairs. Alongside his professional practice, Schjøll also shared his expertise as a teacher at the School of Architecture.
